Another adaptogen that is easy to grow at home is aloe. Most people think of aloe for it's skin healing properties, but taken internally aloe is very effective in promoting gut health and can lower blood sugar.
Ashwagandha:
Typically, available in a powdered form, Ashwagandha can be added to your shakes or lattes. This powerful herb is great at reducing stress and anxiety and has been shown to increase memory. If you get only on adaptogen this is the one to try!
